Burrowing Owl on Post, a Great Vantage Point

            Burrowing Owls
            A  4th of JulyTreat!
The first video shows 3 different Burrowing Owls seen in Kuna ID, near the Birds of Prey Center.  All three were on posts viewing their realm.  We think the first owl, with a lighter appearance than the others, may be a male with bleached feathers.  The second owl, distinctly darker, was seen on the post (in 1st video) and then flew down to the grasses (2nd video).  The third owl, seen later as we left, flew off the post and out of view.
The
2nd video shows the owl on the ground, bobbing its whole body.  This behavior may indicate disturbance, but it might also provide better views and judgements of surroundings.  The owl calms quickly and scratches its head.
